On Sunday, January 11th Pastor David and Pastor Matt made an exciting announcement about the future of Citygate. Pastor David and Michele are being promoted to Overseers of Citygate with an apostolic function which creates opportunity for Pastor Matt and Monica to move into the position of Citygate Lead Pastors. We are so excited for this transition. Pastor David's new role will include

• Carrying the primary responsibility of advancing Citygate's multi-campus vision
• Strengthening Citygate's connection to the broader national ministry landscape
• Continuing to collaborate with Pastor Matt to shepherd Citygate's staff and leaders
• Working to duplicate Citygate's culture within each local community
• Remaining an active member of the teaching team
• Facilitating and investing in the local pastoral community, fostering unity, encouragement, and shared mission across the region

We believe that the Lord is moving at Citygate and will use this transition to further the mission of Citygate to Rescue, Raise, and Release.
